We were very satisfied with the order procedure. There were one or two concerns we had regarding the procedure for the posting of our irreplaceable film but were able to get these answered very quickly over a phone call. I would definitely recommend this great family firm to others.

This is the second time that I have used the services of Alive Studios. My first order was so well received by our family when they viewed the transferred come films that I had no doubts about using the same firm for my 8 mini DV tapes. I have been kept informed about how the order has been progressing after the tapes were collected by courier.
The anticipated return date was spot on in reality, and the newly digitised tapes (to 4k as well as HD) were delivered by Royal Mail tracked 48 hr service this morning. Personally, I would have preferred a DHL Next Day delivery having spent a sizeable sum of money on the order. That is my only reservation and a small one at that.
In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly recommend Alive Studios for any digital transfer project. The quality of the recordings is second to none.

I have a load of old cine films that my dad and uncle shot back in the 1960s and 70s. Years ago my mum got them transferred onto VHS, but the quality of the transfers was not very good. I’ve been wanting to get the transferred again into individual files for a while and after researching a few companies on the internet, decided to give Alive Studios a try. And the results are superb. The films have never looked better. The colours and detail are both tremendous. I’m delighted with the results and will soon be sending off another batch of films to transfer. Highly recommended.

I would unhesitatingly recommend to others and enjoyed the communication and turnaround with Alive. The only hiccup was the final dispatch of the materials back to Sydney, but I think it just fell under the radar, and once notified it was resolved overnight, so no issues (hence 5 stars)

Alive Studios have recently transferred a 20 year old digital 8 camcorder tape which was originally recorded in the USA format.
The copies were converted to PAL format and included editing as per my request. The copies were supplied to me as an HD and UHD format on a flash drive. Information on the process was updated on their portal and any questions or queries were answered promptly.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone requiring any form of media transfer or back up.
